Same liberals incensed about trophy hunting elephants are thrilled about murdering third-term babies in the womb

In recent days, President Donald J. Trump’s administration stirred controversy — again — when the White House decided to lift the U.S. ban on the importation of big game carcasses like elephants from Africa.

After the Left exploded in outrage, Trump vowed to leave the ban in place while he and others in his administration reviewed it.

That said, the nature of the outrage as well as the political attitudes and moral priorities of those who most opposed the lifting of the ban caught the eye of administration supporters most.

As noted by Matt Walsh writing for The Daily Wire, those upset by the lifting of the ban have the least problem with continued government funding of the abortion industry, meaning they would rather defend an animal than the life of another human being.

“I personally don’t care much about trophy hunting either way. I think it probably helps conservation efforts more than hinders it, but maybe it is a little weird to keep an elephant’s severed head as a trophy. Whatever. Everyone has their own taste in home decor, I suppose,” he wrote.

Noting that Trump’s response was swift in reaction to the unified outrage, Walsh said that Americans could get something done when they acted in a loud, unified manner. But it’s too bad we can’t seem to get a favorable response to ending abortion.

“When enough of us speak up, things happen. We get a response. It’s just a shame that we’re more eager to speak up about dead elephants than dead babies,” he wrote.

It shouldn’t be that difficult, he points out. After all, the entire federal government right now is being run by Republicans, who used to be the ‘pro-life party.’ The GOP controls both chambers of Congress and there’s a fairly conservative Republican serving as president. And yet, funding for Planned Parenthood, the country’s largest abortion mill, remains intact after nearly a year of complete Republican control over the federal government’s purse strings.

What’s more, Walsh says that at present, “there are no signs” the current practice of funding abortions “will discontinue” in the coming fiscal year.

“Planned Parenthood receives 500 million dollars annually to help finance an operation that slaughters over 300 thousand human beings in a 12-month span,” he wrote. “They have not seen even a small pay cut with our ‘pro-life’ party in charge.”

One of the biggest objections to big game hunting, Walsh said, was that hunters often cut their prey into piece — heads, tusks, etc., that are used for trophies to hang on walls.

Well, Planned Parenthood “knows a thing or two about cutting” as well, “cutting their victims into small parts, much like hunters do with elephants, and sell the premium bits for profit.”

As Natural News reported in July 2015, employees and executives of Planned Parenthood were caught on video by the pro-life Center for Medical Progress negotiating the price of aborted baby body parts with its operatives, posing as members of a fake biotech firm. (Related: Aborted baby parts now being sold for ‘science’ experiments by multi-million-dollar company.)

“The Center for Medical Progress has obtained an advertisement to Planned Parenthood clinics from StemExpress, LLC, one of the major purchasers of Planned Parenthood’s aborted fetal tissue. This flyer advertises 4 different times the financial benefit that Planned Parenthood clinics can receive from supplying fetal tissue, with the words: ‘Financially Profitable,’ ‘Financial Profits,’ ‘financial benefit to your clinic,’ ‘fiscal growth of your own clinic.’ The advertisement carries an endorsement from Planned Parenthood Medical Director Dr. Dorothy Furgerson,” the organization said in a statement at the time.

“None of this is standard across the mainstream medical field, but it is standard across Planned Parenthood’s insular and unaccountable abortion field.”

When this horrid practice was revealed, Republicans vowed at the time to defund Planned Parenthood once and for all. Of course, they couldn’t do so as long as abortion lover Barack Obama was president.

He’s no longer president. Donald Trump is, and Trump has said he would sign a budget spending bill cutting out PP funding.

So, while enough Americans are outraged about elephant hunting to get action on the issue, why can’t we get PP defunded when most of us are just as outraged about abortion?
